Huge Vintage 1920's Wood Shipping Crate Box Chest w/ lid Decor 58 x 21 x 19. Says Stanley, Wis on the side in marker then on the inside it says child's 18 & 20 Doz. braid hats, 2027, Arios. Would be great for decor or storage or anything else you can think of. It is huge but is actually pretty light for its size. This was at my dad's house he bought who has owned a hardware store for a very long time that has been passed down from one generation to the next so I wouldn't doubt if this came from their hardware store but ended up at home. Would be great for decor or storage or anything else you can think of. It is huge but is actually pretty light for its size. Very cool crate in amazing condition. It reminds me of the Christmas story leg lamp shipping crate. We believe this is from the 1920's to 1930's. If you want to know what it came from I know the owner of the hardware who used to live at this house and can find out for you. Dimensions: 58-1/2" long x 21-1/2" deep x 19-1/2" tall Condition: Mechanically wheels and lid work great. Cosmetically in very nice overall condition couple boards have some cracks here and there but all very solid, stains or discoloration on top of lid. Sold as is.
