Vintage, 1950's, carnival prize, clown/jester with a celluloid face. What a charming, creepy, collectible item that captures the essence of fairs, the circus and carnival culture from the 1940’s and 50’s. Made in the United States, this piece was likely a prize at a fair or amusement park, serving as a nostalgic keepsake for a time when entertainment was more playful and whimsical. Perfect for collectors or those with a love for vintage, circus themed toys and stuffed animals. This clown/jester, is a unique and colorful addition to any collection. In very good condition with a clean celluloid face. No chips or cracks to the celluloid but neck and material seam has a split. It has been reinforced to prevent further damage. Looks as if there is a repair to fabric seam on pink, hip area. The seam has slight frayed material on back, where the purple and pink fabric meet. The original collar netting has a few holes. Wonderful, original hair with a few strands missing? Original fluff balls, ribbons and jingle bell. Approximately 32 inches tall. In excellent, clean condition for it’s 75 years.
